These terms apply when you buy from or use DISCProfile.me. The site is run by James Calver, a sole trader trading as DISCProfile.me, of 4th Floor, 399-401 Strand, London WC2R 0LT. Contact: hello@discprofile.me. By buying or using the service you agree to these terms.
What we provide
- DiSC assessment: an online questionnaire of about 10 minutes, your results, and a personalised PDF report emailed to you.
- Business credits: one credit pays for one assessment for someone you invite. Business accounts can brand invites with their logo, track progress, and send a copy of a report to a manager.
- DISC Practitioner Certification: an online course with lifetime access to its current modules, quizzes, and a certificate when you pass them all.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. A business account owner is responsible for the colleagues they add and the people they invite, and must have a fair reason to invite them.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you pay, in your local currency where available. Payment is taken in full at checkout by Stripe. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. Volume discounts for business credits apply automatically at the quantities shown on the site.
If you tick "I need an invoice" at checkout, Stripe creates a paid invoice that you can view and download.
Business credits
Credits don't expire and are shared by everyone on a business account. One credit is used each time you send an assessment invite. Credits can't be exchanged for cash or moved to another account.
Cancellations and refunds
If you're buying as a consumer, UK law usually gives you 14 days to cancel. Because the assessment and course are digital content that starts straight away, you agree when you buy that we can provide them immediately, and your right to cancel ends once you start the assessment or open the course. Before then, you can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Business credits: unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Credits already used to send invites can't be refunded. After 14 days, unused credits can't be refunded, but they never expire.
If something goes wrong, for example a report doesn't arrive or an invite fails, contact us and we'll fix it, re-issue it or refund you. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
Using results responsibly
DiSC describes behavioural preferences. It isn't a measure of ability, intelligence or mental health, and it isn't designed for selecting candidates. Don't use results as the only reason for a hiring, promotion or dismissal decision. Businesses must use results fairly and in line with employment and data protection law.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempting to break or overload it, accessing other people's results or accounts, copying or reselling our content, or sending invites to people without a legitimate reason.
Our content
The site, questionnaire, reports and course materials belong to us or our licensors. You may use your own report, and share it as you wish, for your personal or internal business purposes. Certificates are for the named person only.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may update the service, these terms or prices. Changes don't affect purchases already made.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law. If you're a consumer, we're responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. If you're buying for a business, we're not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
